My friend Cheryl came last week and gave me these great cards from one of her classes that I couldn't attend.  There was one more card that I'm not showing because we'll make it in an upcoming class!

 I love Erin's card!  I don't know what style it's called, but it uses a single sheet of dsp and yet holds up well because of the cs.  We will definitely be making it in a class.

My Card with Envelope

Last is my card.  It's a little 3x3" card.  I wanted to make a matching envelope with the new envelope paper.  You could use the plain side or the stripes on the outside.

We were supposed to have 3 more people, but unfortunately weren't able to come due to being sick or hospitalized!

Tami's Incentive Card

This is a card I got from my upline, Tami.  I love Washi Tape and was so pleased with getting it this month along with other fun merchandise.  The corrugated cardboard has a unique look when you stamp on it.  I really love the new heavy white cs.  The silver thread is easy to tie and it stays tied!  Here though it is stapled onto the card.

My Mom's Card

My mom used to do a lot of stamping, but hasn't had the energy to do much anymore.  I gave her a Texture Impressions machine for Mother's Day.  This is a card she made for me using it.  She found that adding stickers was easy for her.  At 86 years old I think she's still very creative!

SUO Challenge #126 - Designer Series Papers! and Happy Birthday Kevin!

I was so excited to take part in the SUO Challenge #126.  You need to use Designer Series Papers.  My friend's son's birthday is tomorrow, so I made his card to fit the challenge.  Also, I had some leftover pieces from my May Club, so I thought I'd use those scraps.  I used a geometrical layout and to make it more masculine.  I had a little dotted scrap of Painted Blooms DSP to add a little birthday fun.  Doesn't it look a little like a party hat?

For Ray's 17th b-day dinner we went to Black Bear Dinner.  When we got home he wanted to play a game of hearts.  Dave, having played the most often, won.  We were too full from dinner to eat any cake.  Shelagh gave Ray a really cute card.
