I made some of these cards at my friend Cheryl's before Convention. I needed to make Thank you cards for my teenage son to give out after his birthday and wanted to borrow her Fast and Furious set. She just happened to be prepping for an upcoming class and had designed a b-day card version similar to this based on a card she had seen on DO's blog. So, being in a rush I just copied her idea and adapted it to a thank you card. It also came in handy to give my brother a week later.
Good news: SU decided to extend the 31% Off Digital sale until September 14! We know you are wrapping up summer stuff, getting everybody back to school, and things are busy. Now everybody can have a little more breathing room to finish their projects to send off to the print services. And don't forget about the 31 digital content items on sale too.
Yes, we realize that this change doesn't go along with our little "31 theme," but . . . who cares? When we're talking SALE, 45 days is better than 31!
What's on sale? ALL cards, photobooks, individual pages, and tags. That's right: print any photobook, board book, swatchbook, individual pages, greeting card, postcard, trifold card, or tag-all for 31% off.
Some of our best digital content. 30 downloads and 1 content disc. Yup, that equals 31.
Just in case you didn't see this card the first time I posted it, I wanted to show it again. This is the final card we will be making in my "Case'g" class on Thur. I got this swap from Julie Beltramo, a member of the Inkerbelles group I'm in, and I just love it. There's still room in the class, so let me know if you want to come! I'm prepping extra for last minute replies.
Well, I'm finally posting the cards we made in our June club. Both used Betsy's Blossom, a fun and versatile stamp set. I recently bought a some earrings from Premier Designs and was so surprised that the image on the box matched (almost exactly) the large floral image from our set! Since it was a b-day gift for my mom I gave her the top card, which matched the box. So fun!
Our Inkerbelles group met for dinner and we had prepared special full card swaps. This is the card I traded. It's very similar to one of the cards we made in my June Club. I never posted those - maybe Monday!
This was the swap I traded at Convention. There were so many great swaps I received in return. I even got some swaps from people after I had run out. People were so generous and kind.
I went to Stampin Up's Annual Convention in Utah 7/18-7/21 with my friend, Cathy H, and we had such a blast!
Here are a couple of the free sets we received on the last day. The set on the left is an exclusive set that Convention attendees received. The set on the right is called Moving Forward and SU donates $3 from the purchase of each set to Ronald McDonald Charities. We got ours free! I can't wait to use it and hope lots of people will purchase it so SU will donate to this worthy cause.
Here's a card that we'll make at a class on Aug 23rd. I received this swap from Julie B, a fellow Inkerbelle, and it uses one of the images from the Moving Forward set. Isn't it adorable? Hope you can make it to the class!
I finally uploaded all my photos from Convention and will be sharing them with you, so be sure to check back often!
Hello. I've been a SU demonstrator since 2003 and enjoy creating with rubber stamps. This blog is a place for me to share projects I make with my customers and friends. I've been happily married since 1991 and have two wonderful and very active teenage boys. Happy Stamping!
