Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I sent out a few cards - mom, bachelor brothers, and a couple friends.  I wanted to send a card to my sis, so I quickly whipped this up from scraps that needed to be cleared from my hutch.  I used the mini stapler to attach the cajun craze and water colored pieces.  Then I covered the staples with a couple pieces of washi tape.  Oh, how I love that mini stapler!  It's so easy, especially since I'm losing the use of my left hand.

SUPPLIES:
sets - all about autum, grateful greetings (inside)
cs - water color paper, cajun craze, crumb cake notecards and envelopes
ink - pumpkin pie old olive cajun craze and chocolate chip pads
access - big shot, wood grain TIEF, washi tape, mini stapler, mister

Nov Club is Zipped Up!

Fall Zipper Card, front. open and envelope
We stamped leaves on watercolor paper and "misted" them with water to give it the blurry effect.

Fall Zipper Card, front (not sealed)
SUPPLIES:
sets - and many more, all about autumn, retired
cs - water color paper, chocolate chip, very vanilla, cajun craze, moonlight dsp
ink - pumpkin pie, cajun craze, old olive, chocolate chip pads and early espresso marker
access - candy dots, spritzer, rotary arm addition with perforation blade and scallop blade, dimensionals
punches - modern label, word window
Fall Zipper Card, inside "zipper"
Winter Zipper Card, full front and open
SUPPLIES:
sets - endless wishes
cs - whisper white, lost lagoon, basic gray, moonlight dsp
ink - basic gray pad and black marker, white craft pad
access - rotary arm addition with perforation blade and scallop blade, heat tool and white ep, dimensionals
punches - modern label, word window, small oval
Winter Zipper Card, front (it's white embossed snowflakes on lost lagoon cs, not green ~ it just looks that way in the photo)
These are the zipper pull cards we made in Club this month! I first made a zipper card at my Vacaville Shoe Box Swap.  She got the idea from Frenchie Martin.  You need the rotary arm and perforator blade.  Also I used the small scallop blade to cut the strip of dsp that goes over the "zipper" (perforated portion).

After you sign the card and are ready to mail it, you seal it.  Then the recipient "unzips" it open by pulling the tab.
