Ok, these cards were totally copied from my good friend Cheryl, except the last two cards. The fourth card uses a simply sent kit and is all designed already (I just substituted the recommended set because I don't own it) and the last card was copied from Shelly Gardner (co-founder of SU) with a minor change to the ribbon.
The card below is created with a hostess only level-1 set. You can easily earn this free set when you hold a workshop with sales of $150 net.

Cheryl's Just Believe Cards
These are a couple cards my friend Cheryl made with the Just Believe set. Aren't they pretty? She used Blueberry Crisp designer paper on the first card and Sunny Garden designer paper on the second one. The sentiments are from Fabulous Phrases; that set from the new catalog that is such a pretty font.

I Won!
I received the card above from my up-line, Denise, saying that my name was entered in a drawing for the quarters' swaps and contests. I won $25 in free merchandise! I was so excited; it's the first time I ever won anything. I knew what I wanted ~ the new Just Believe set. When I received my clear mount set I made this thank you card for Denise. The little butterflies on the envelope are from my name stamp. I can't wait to make more cards using this set, but my "stamping" (dining room) table is full of food from our pantry while Dave is painting it. I have photos of cards my friend Cheryl made with her set that I'll post this week.
Supplies:
sets- just believe
cs- very vanilla, pacific point, tangerine tango, daffodil delight, greenhouse gala dp
ink- pear pizzaz pad & marker, pacific point marker, daffodil delight pad, tangerine tango marker, riding hood red marker, wild wasabi marker
access- scallop trim corner punch, daffodil delight taffeta ribbon

September Club Projects
These are the two projects we made in Club yesterday. The first card's layout was inspired by the Harvest Home card on p29 of the IBC. I gave the ladies the option of water coloring the image or not, but I think everyone colored it.
Supplies:
sets- greeting card kids, fabulous phrases, silhouette sentiments
cs-sahara sand, very vanilla, pretty in pink, baja breeze
ink- baja breeze pad, early espresso pad, sahara sand pad, blush blossom marker
access- paper piercer & mat pack, pretty in pink gg ribbon, scallop trim border punch, dimensionals, pearl, watercolor pencils & blender pens
I used the new Big Shot Adhesive Sheets and the Elegant Soiree dp on the next project. I love those adhesive sheets! They are in the new Holiday Mini catalog and I sure hope SU carries them over. Similar to Sticky Pages, but better because you can use punches on them!
I added a little baja breeze punched flower to the back
Supplies:
sets- inspired by nature
cs- elegant soiree dp, sahara sand, basic gray, baja breeze
ink- basic gray pad
access- Big Shot adhesive sheets, punch pack bitty shapes, corner rounder, pearls, mini composition booklet
Here's another booklet I made just fooling around.
I used the Big Shot Adhesive Sheets on Sahara Sand card stock, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines embossing folder. I adhered that to the backside of my mini composition booklet.

Tribute to Phillip
Here's a tribute to my younger brother, Phillip (in photo above), that my older brother Paul wrote. He posted it on his blog and I wanted to share it. I love my little brother and will miss him dearly. I know that he is better off with God and not fighting his painful disease anymore, but I will still miss him.
Phillip Menard May 28, 1966~September 4th, 2010
Peace little brother, nobody played the piano like you, you laughed and swam and never grew old, trapped by voices and all alone you were shelved in a home, we saw you fade the former self of you, joy kept, and now at peace in Jesus’ arms you rest. I will think of you often, of playing the Entertainer and Carry on My Wayward Son, with no sheet music did you comply, but fingers tuned to an extraordinary ear… I saw them fly! We camped and fished and laughed and ran and hid inside forts within our bunks, and now you dance in Our Father’s house, a game I’m sure of cat and mouse. I love you Phillip 66 the youngest son, when I think of you, all I think of is fun! And I will remember the years best we spent, at Yellow Jacket, at the granite rock catching lizards, fishing for bluegills, and doing laundry in the creek. When I go to the River and listen to it’s pattern I will listen for you, just waiting to hear you speak!
With heart ache, My little brother passed away today ~ PM

Sad News
My Mom called this morning to tell me my younger brother died. I was in shock. They are going to do an autopsy, but we suspect it was a heart attack. I'm only 19 months older than him and we were always close. The deputy sheriff said that he was lying peacefully on his bed. When I was calling my other siblings I told them I had bad news and good news. After telling my oldest brother about the death, he said, "So what's the good news?" I said, "The good news is that he didn't die a slow painful death of cancer." Blessings to you. Enjoy your family while they're here.
