I went to a demonstrator get together at Tami's Saturday and it was great! All ten projects were 3-D and most of them used items from the upcoming Holiday Mini catalog which is available to all SU customers beginning September 1st (that's tomorrow!).
This first project is a Simply Adorned insert using items from the new Idea Book & Catalog. It is Tami's sample. Mine has the letter "M" instead of "T" on it.
Use SU's Matchbox die to create this little box out of the Nite Owl designer series paper (dsp) from the Holiday Mini catalog and trim it with Raven black lace, and Dark & Dreary images (also from the upcoming new mini). Finally, add a couple basic rhinestones to add a little sparkle.
Here's a cute treat pocket using Day of Gratitude set & Autumn Spice dsp from the Holiday Mini. Simply use the Big Shot to cut out 2 Scallop Squares of Chocolate Chip card stock & run them through the paper crimper. Adhere them together on only three sides using sticky strip, creating a pocket. Add a smaller square of Autumn Spice dsp using the Scallop Square Duo die from the Holiday Mini (the larger of the two squares layers nicely) and decorate with ribbon, buttons and punched card stock.
Decorate a Mini Lunch Sack using the Deck the Hall designer fabric and Tasteful Trim die along with the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. The smaller square on the Scallop Squares Duo die layers perfectly with the scallop square punch. Half inch Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, also from the Holiday Mini, ties it all together so nicely!
Punch one long edge of a strip of glittery Candy Cane Christmas specialty dsp with the scallop edge punch. Then use the lower half of the Mini Milk Carton die to create this adorable little box. Coordinating designer fabric is cut with the Scallop Square die and tucked inside like tissue. Add some sparkle to the Christmas tree image with adhesive backed basic rhinestones.
This gift holder uses the Fancy Favors die and a bunch of goodies from the upcoming Holiday Mini catalog ~ Big Designer Buttons, Candy Cane Christmas specialty (with glitter!)dsp, Tasteful Trim die, Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and the 3/4x15/16" oval punch (so easy to use).
Want some bling? Try the Glitter Brads and Tinsel Trim from the Holiday Mini. The silver tinsel has wire in it so it's perfect to twist around the Candy Wrapper die cut. This little sweet treat holder also uses A Cute Christmas set colored simply with pastels.
Want an inexpensive way to provide favor boxes? This is part of the Candy Countdown Calendar Kit from the Holiday Mini and doubles as a "party favor" box. You can make 25 of these cuties for only $19.95. Now that's economical! Wouldn't the red box also be perfect for Valentine's Day? It also uses the Perfect Punches and Fabulous Phrases stamp sets.
This Halloween Candy Holder uses the Two Tags die It also uses the Spider Web textured impressions folder, Raven black lace, and the Dark & Dreary set from the upcoming Holiday Mini. Can you see the Moonlight Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink on the candles? The Smooch Ink has an easy applicator brush similar to fingernail polish.
This item uses the Bitty Box & Envelope die and Artistic Etchings set. I like the color combo it uses ~ Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Soft Suede, and Baja Breeze.
Happy Stamping! Mary
