 The above was case'd from a card I made at the Vacaville Shoebox.  Cheryl changed up the colors and executed it much cleaner than I did.  I like her version better!

 Cheryl tends to emboss with white a lot.  I has a nice effect especially on a silhouette image like this one.

Cheryl Patriotic card

 I like how the flag pole goes off the page and gives this card dimension.  It says, "you've got courage, you've got strength" on the front and "you've got me" on h inside.

Cheryl Birthday card

I like how Cheryl punched holes in the So Saffron piece and sponged it to create a "cheese" layer.  The greeting, from the set Giggle Greetings, says, "age is  something that doesn't count unless you're a cheese."

Cheryl Sympathy card

 This sympathy card is made using a new hostess set Bloom with Hope.  The set is versatile because it has a variety of sentiments (for sympathy, birthday and other) and images.

My friend Cheryl stopped by today and she showed me some cards she made recently.  We had a nice visit and lunch.  I love how we can go to lunch and write it off as a business expense!

My sister, Anne, had some time off work and came for a visit this past Mon/Tue.  She is so sweet!  We had a great visit.  I'm not taller than her, I'm just sitting on a taller chair. It's funny, I never thought we looked alike, but we do in these photos.

DETAILS:

·        You won't earn any hearts for an order of $24.95, but you will earn 2 hearts for a $50 order, before s/h and  tax

·        If you place a $150 order, before s/h and tax, you will get regular hostess credit from SU as well as earning 6 hearts from me

·        Once you earn 6 hearts you will qualify for $25 in retired merchandise from me and start accumulating more hearts towards your next $25.  So, for instance, if you place a $250 net online order, you'll get $40 hostess credit from SU that must be redeemed at the time you place the order, $25 from me to choose from my retired merchandise, and 4 additional hearts

·        You may wait and redeem 12 hearts ($50 in merchandise), but you must redeem your merchandise within one year of earning it

My son's 16th birthday is today!  He's got a thing for mustaches, so when I saw this set in the new catty I just had to get it.  I got the mustache framelit to easily cut it out.  I also love the stamp on the inside.  He is awesome, so it's very fitting!  I got the set free from SU for my sales during SAB.  Thanks everyone!

Surgeries

I originally made this card just to have on hand.  Now I need two of them!  My brother-in-law is having surgery on his shoulder.  My neighbor recently had a tumor, that was cancerous, removed from his kidney.  They think they got it all and he's doing well.

I love this set because it has so many useful options!
