Retirning Sets Class

Here are the cards we made Thur. at my technique class using mainly retiring sets.

This first card is so fun! You can put the greeting under the flap, but still have room to write something on the inside. I got the idea from this card. I thought it would be fun to add a bunch of little pearls to the center of the main flower, but I chose to add Crystal Effects instead. Do you like it?
Project #1 Supplies:
set-Eastern Blooms, herb expressions
cs- rose red, sahara sand, whisper white
ink- rose red and sahara sand pads
access- rose red seam binding, scallop edge punch, dimensionals, crystal efects

The pink squares were made with the scallop duo die. The purple pieces began as squares and I rounded the 2 opposite corners. I gives a cool effect! I first saw it on a scrapbook page here. I've shown a couple different options you can stamp for the inside. I'm sad that the Simply Said set is retiring since it has so much to offer.
Project #2 Supplies:
sets- simply said
cs- white, pink pirouette, elegant eggplant, perfect plum
ink- elegant eggplant & perfect plum pads
access- white organza ribbon, ice square rhinestone brads, 1/16" handheld punch, 1-1/4" square punch, corner rounder, big shot & scallop squares duo die, dimensionals

This is a CAS (Clean And Simple) one layer card. I'm so excited that the colored embossing powders (ep) are going in the new catalog! There will be more colors, too.
Project #3 Supplies:
sets- pick a petal, hope happens
cs- white, daffodil delight, cherry cobbler thin strip scraps
ink- versamark pad, wild wasabi pad, daffodil delight pad, tempting turquoise pad
access- mambo 7 tangerine ep, powder pal trays, heat tool 3/4" circle punch, clear buttons, mini glue dots

This last card is made with the beautiful Always set. I love the bird! I embossed it and the little flowers, then punched out the flowers and popped them up. Don't they look like special designer brads?
Project #4 Supplies:
sets- always, sincere salutations
cs- crumb cake, chocolate chip, brocade backgrounds dsp, not quite navy, very vanilla
ink- not quite navy craft pad, chocolate chip and crumb cake classic pads
access- 1/2" circle punch, chantilly crochet trim, corner rounder, sponge, heat tool, clear ep

Happy Stamping! Mary
